After some minor setbacks , we are officially in production with the New DMG MORI NVX 1500/1800 as of May 1st,2017.
This is the latest addition to our fleet of Turn-Mill CNC equipment.
Winegar now has 12 CNC turning centers with live tooling and or milling capability to handle complex parts in one operation.

In December we added a Mitutoyo Laser Scan Micrometer for our Quality Department; it increases our in house capabilities for gage pin calibration of the over 2500 calibrated gage pins in our lab.
It will also give us capability to measure small parts with a readout capability of 1 millionth of an inch.
In December, we updated our ToolRoom equipment include a new Clausing 500EVS knee mill with digital readouts and fully powered X , Y and Z axis.
This addition will allow us to maintain our high standards of accuracy as we build fixtures for machining the high quality parts our customers expect from Winegar, Inc.
Christmas came early at Winegr, Inc, as our new DMG-Mori NT4300 DCG – SZ arrived on December 17th 2015.
This new machine will allow us to turn and machine parts up to 25 inches in diameter and 58 inches long! The 4300 will complete multiple complex machining operations without
moving the parts to multiple work centers.
With 400 MM quick change Chucks and a 100 tool capacity magazine, the NT4300SZ will enhance our ability to provide our customers with even higher precision,more
complex machining in fewer operations.
We are excited to report that we are expecting soon a new turn mill capability with capacity up to 23 inch diameter parts.
New DMG Mori NT4300 will offer high accuracy for multi axis machining in a single machine.

Just in – On November 21st we finished installation of our new Toyoda Select G 100II cylindrical Grinder with Marposs Dual gauge heads for efficiency while holding consistent accuracy on tight tolerances.
We can now Grind parts up to 36 inches long , and up to nearly 12 inches in Diameter!
The first new machine in the 2013 addition is up and running. The 16 pallet Toyoda 630 MM Horizontal machining center is up and running it first parts.
April 2012: Winegar is pleased to announce an addition to our measuring equipment inventory – the Keyence vision system. The system allows us to quickly and accurately take a multiple of complex measurements, verifying that our machining processes remain in control, and within customer specified tolerances.
The machine not only speeds up the measurement process, but greatly reduces the chances of errors in the measurement process.
This is another step in our commitment to provide quality machined parts, and minimize chances of non conforming material reaching our customers facilities.
In February 2012 we added a new Doosan V550M vertical turning center with a 49 HP spindle, live tooling and high pressure coolant.
It increases our vertical turning capacity to 7 spindles and can turn and mill pieces up to 22 inches in diameter and 20 inches in height.
